Private Client Trainee
Earl and Crocker are seeking a Private Client trainee who will be able to run their own caseload including Wills, Probate and LPA’s for a varied client base. As the firm and the department expands, the firm are looking for the right person to train to achieve further legal qualifications.
The successful candidate must have: –
- Law degree or CILEX equivalent having completed a module in the law of Wills and succession/Trusts
- Driving license and their own car
The successful candidate must be: –

- Be innovative and have initiative
- Work well within a small firm to become part of a team
Although our ideal candidate will have some knowledge of Wills and probate law, training will be provided by our Head of Department who has over 15 years working in this area.
The right candidate will be required to meet with clients, advise and assist in the drafting of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Probate and therefore excellent communication, organisation and client care skills are essential. Many of the clients within this department are elderly and so the right candidate must be able to connect with different people on different levels, taking into account the client’s needs and vulnerabilities.
There are opportunities within the firm for the right candidate to undertake additional qualifications including legal apprenticeships for solicitor or legal executive.
